The energy HT1600 D overlap welding kit from Weldy, a Leister brand, is affordable for craftsmen and DIYers who want to overlap weld thermoplastics such as PE, PP and PVC (vinyl). The kit consists of the following five items: Weldy energy HT1600 D heat gun, 40 mm wide slot nozzle (article no. 124.777), 20 mm wide slot nozzle (article no. 124.772), 40 mm pressure roller made of silicone (article no. 130.611) and spare carbon brushes for the blower motor (article no. 125.810).
The Weldy HT 1600 heat gun has an LCD display that provides continuous digital temperature control from 40°C (104°F) to 620°C (1,148°F). The main applications for the energy HT1600 D overlap welding kit are overlap welding roofing membranes, shrinking foils, as well as welding floor coverings. Additionally, it’s used to dry and activate adhesives and fillers, shrink car wraps, as well as the process sensitive materials like leather and imitation leather (e.g. car interior).
